Try it. So good and juicy. The meat is so tender and the portions are good go at least once!
Delicious food, great value, open late in downtown (8pm), friendly cashier, quick service.
Had the Miracle. What a great meal. Reminded me of a calzone. Flavor was awesome and the size made for a good lunch. The service was great and ready to go when I arrived. I'll be back for sure.
Just outside the Fresno convention center, came here for lunch on a Saturday. Huge place, decent size servings, good value, basic furniture. Service is on the slow side, despite the place being almost empty for lunch. But then its Saturday, and downtown Fresno deserted on weekends. Ordered the $12 chicken lula kabob plate, which came with two kabobs, and sides of salad, and hummus spread for pita chips. Chicken juicy and fresh, flavorful with the mixed rice. Wife ordered the $9 egg boat with two over easy eggs and cheese inside a freshly baked dough covered with mushrooms. Delicious and filling. The prices on the menu came with tape over the old prices on the wall, as if the prices change annually. Open Mon-Sat 10am-3pm , as office workers get out of Dodge at 5pm -it's that sketchy an area.
Ordered the chicken breast plate and it was delicious. Cubed chicken breast with a great grilled flavor, a green with an amazing peppery vinaigrette dressing, pilaf and warm fresh pita bread. Plenty of garlic sauce on the side. Every thing was just great. I would add a picture but after the first bite, I devoured everything. Grubhub order didn't go through but the wonderful lady behind the counter had my order out in absolutely no time. I will be back soon.
I work in downtown and have passed by GG's Food Factory countless times but never stopped in--until recently. I'm so glad I finally gave it a try! I ordered the chicken fattoush salad, and it was outstanding. The flavors were spot on, but what really impressed me was the quality of the chicken. It was tender, perfectly seasoned, and honestly better than what I've had at a similar restaurant nearby. The freshness of the ingredients really made a difference. The only reason I give this place a 4 star is because it took a while to get help at the front desk. The desk was empty and my guess is that they were helping in the kitchen. I only get a 30 minute lunch as many of other people that work in downtown, so every minute counts! Next time I'll order over the phone. However, I'll definitely be coming back to GG's for lunch again to try other items in the menu.
I recently visited GG's food Factory, and I must say, it's one of the best spots for Mediterranean food /Armenian food they have the Bread boat egg thing which is 10 stars best in the valley. The restaurant has a pretty open layout with plenty of seating, which makes for a comfortable dining experience. I called ahead for my order, and although I had to wait about 10 minutes longer than expected, the food was well worth it. While they serve brick oven pizza which is definitely a plus but I was here for something else. The charcoal flame chicken pilaf and salad were absolutely fantastic, easily scoring top marks in my book. As a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, I've tried plenty of spots, but this one ranks in my top three for sure. The pita bread was warm and fluffy, the buttered pilaf was flavorful, and the chicken was perfectly juicy and seasoned. The garlic sauce deserves special mention it's a solid 10/10. The customer service was friendly and efficient, with no complaints on that front. My only gripe is that they close early in the afternoon, by 2:30 PM, so it's a bit of a challenge to catch them unless you have an early day. However, on those days when I get off work early, this place is definitely my go-to. Overall, GG's Factory Mediterranean is a gem for anyone who loves Mediterranean food. Just make sure to plan your visit accordingly to catch them before they close
It was dead in here when we walked in but like the simple decor. Family run. Woman recommended this salad which my daughter and I shared and it was simply amazing. Dressing was great, chicken was moist. We will come back.
I love GG's. They are still family owned and the food is still freshly made. My husband and son obsess over their garlic sauce. We don't often make it over even though we live close by because they close at 3pm weekdays and 2pm on Saturdays, closed on Sundays. I needed to take lunch to my husband so we got lunch to go: 2 beef shawarma wraps, fries, fattoush salad and calzone with pepperoni instead the standard chicken and can't forget a large side of that garlic sauce (we sometimes come in for just the garlic sauce to go with whatever we're having for dinner). Unfortunately, today they forgot my husband's fries so he had to make do with just a wrap. They are good size so he didn't go hungry. I almost didn't go back for the fries after I dropped off his lunch but I'm soooo glad I did because they are really good! Nicely seasoned thin fries, perfectly crispy. Not overly salty, thankfully. My daughter, surprisingly, thought there was too much cheese in her calzone - like, when does that ever happen? Haha never. I asked for my pita chips to my fattoush salad on the side so they wouldn't get soggy and that was brilliant. My salad was huge and the chicken breast pieces so tender and seasoned well.
The woman and young girl are so warm and welcoming to the customers. I let them know I didn't eat meat or dairy and they were so helpful and open to making me a veggie plate. EVERYTHING on the plate was flavorful. Like one of the other yelpers said, it's one of those meals you slow down, sit back, and appreciate- not wanting it to end. The ambiance is also calm with warm lighting, which gives it an elegant feel. I look forward to coming back.
